PCMA POWER CHAPTER ANNOUNCES 2023 BOARD MEMBERS

PITTSBURGH (January 4, 2023) – The POWER Chapter of the Professional Convention Management Association today announced its board of directors for the 2023 calendar year:

  • Secretary: duties delegated to Lisa Moses, Chapter Administrator

  • Margaret McGuire-Schoeff, Building Industry Association of Central Ohio

  • Barry Schieferstein, The American Society for Nondestructive Testing

The 2023 board of directors was selected by this year’s nominating committee, which was chaired by Ken Sien (Notified), a past president of the chapter.

About the 2023 board

Will Engle is Assistant Director of Education & Events for AMR Management Services, an association management company in Lexington, Ky. He and the team at AMR plan national and international conferences for its 23 client partners.

Johanne Stogran is Director of Conferences for the Botanical Society of America, which has its headquarters office in St. Louis. Johanne manages the association’s annual BOTANY Conference.

Denise Farrell is Director, Event Sourcing – Corporate & Association for Meetings & Incentives Worldwide, Inc., which has its corporate office in Caledonia, Wis. A subject matter expert in hotel procurement, Denise leads a remote team of hotel sourcing managers, while also building client and supplier relationships and working with their operations team to provide services to their client partners.

Margaret McGuire-Schoeff is Manager of Events & Home Tours for the Building Industry Association of Central Ohio, located in Columbus. Margaret oversees the Parade of Homes and other BIA, and BIA Foundation, events.

Brittany Onslow is Head of Events – Americas for Smithers, located in Akron, Ohio. Brittany works in event management and communications for the organization.

Barry Schieferstein is the Director of Learning and Events for The American Society for Nondestructive Testing, located in Columbus. Barry is responsible for the planning, marketing, and execution of all ASNT learning programs, conferences, meetings, and events.

Hannah Stancliff is Director of Convention Sales and Services for VisitErie, the Convention & Visitors Bureau of Erie, Pa. Hannah leads the VisitErie team that works closely with planners and local hoteliers and partners to bring meetings to Erie, and to a make those meetings a success.
