Resilience: The Power of the Bounce Back – A POWER Chapter Virtual Program

2020 and 2021 have been full of challenges, from the COVID-19 global pandemic, to racial unrest, to parents forced to be at-home teachers. The hospitality industry has been hit especially hard by these challenges. Our keynote speaker Kenston Henderson, Sr. will ignite, inspire, and empower you to keep moving forward in spite of hard times, knowing there will be an ultimate comeback. Les Brown says, if you can look up, you can get up. If we can just fall forward, we can keep moving towards our goals, dreams, and be amazing during hard times. Kenston will share that the ability to connect with others is a major determining factor in reaching your full potential, and that connecting is a skill you can learn and apply now in your personal, professional, and family relationships to start building and fostering a community that will walk alongside you.

About the Speaker

Kenston Henderson Sr. is the founder and CEO of Live With Lyfe, LLC, is a TEDx Signature Speaker, a certified John Maxwell Leadership Speaker and Trainer, Culture Transformation Champion, and certified in Youth Mental Health First Aid USA. He has over 17+ years of experience in Human Resources and 20+ years of experience helping people cultivate the best version of themselves. Kenston delivers impactful, on-time, and action-packed speaking and training messages.

Kenston is also an accomplished musician with two instrumental albums Breathe (2016) and Oasis (2018). In 2018, he also wrote the book “Parenting Like a Boss: Intentionally Committed” which landed on Amazon’s Best Seller list and author of Winning Conversations: How to Communicate Successfully and Courageously About Race.

As much as Kenston loves speaking and inspiring youth and adults, his ongoing commitments and goals are to be the best husband to his amazing wife and the best father in the world to his incredible son. His client list includes global financial organizations, technology companies, healthcare organizations, government agencies, cities and municipalities, non-profits, and many others.
