Nomination by Petition
Article XII, Section 3 of the POWER Chapter Bylaws allows for additional nominations for any officer or director to be made by written petition signed by five percent (5%) of the membership in good standing, within 30 days following notification to the membership (deadline: January 9, 2025).

In the event that qualified candidates are nominated by petition for any office, an election shall be conducted by a confidential mail ballot of the membership. The Secretary shall supervise the counting of the ballots and the candidate receiving the highest number of votes for the office shall be declared elected.

In the event that no petition nominations are received by the end of the business day (Eastern Standard Time) on January 9, 2025, the slate proposed by the Nominating Committee shall be deemed elected.
