Update from the Chapter President – March 20, 2020

March 20, 2020

Dear POWER Chapter Community,

We know that the Coronavirus (“COVID-19”) is on everyone’s minds and is impacting all of our businesses, and our lives. As we continue to monitor the situation very closely, we wanted to reach out and share that in accordance with the CDC’s recent recommendations, and with guidance from the Meetings Mean Business Alliance, April 14’s GMID events are being postponed.  Likewise, due to directives and recommendations from various health and government agencies, we are postponing the May 20 education event in Columbus.  We will let you know as soon as we have any updates about potentially rescheduling these events.

Please monitor https://www.pcma.org/coronavirus-business-events-professionals-need-to-know-faq/ for updates on COVID-19 information and guidance from PCMA.

We look forward to visiting with our Chapter members and friends again when circumstances change. Please monitor PCMA’s website and the POWER Chapter website for updates. In the meantime, stay healthy and safe. Should you have questions or need assistance, please let the POWER Chapter leadership know, and we will do our very best to help in any way possible.

All of our best,
Karl Pietrzak, POWER Chapter President & the POWER Chapter Board
