POWER Chapter Past-President Nominated for Visionary Award

POWER Chapter past-president Ken Sien, CMP, Senior Account Executive, Notified, has been selected as a finalist for the 2022 PCMA Foundation Visionary Award for Outstanding Service to a Chapter. The annual Visionary Awards, established to honor and celebrate the global business events industry’s exceptional stars, will be held on Thursday, March 24 at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in National Harbor, Md.

Sien, who served on the chapter board of directors many years, including two stints as chapter president, has stayed committed to the chapter outside of his time in official board leadership. In 2021, he served on the Education and Sponsorship Committees, was chair of the Nominating Committee that determined the 2022 chapter board slate, and represented the chapter (virtually) on Capitol Hill during GMID week, to advocate on the industry’s behalf.

The Visionary Awards celebration is in conjunction with the inaugural Business Events Industry Week, powered by Destinations International and PCMA, a week dedicated to convening the global business events industry in the United States.
