PITTSBURGH – January 17, 2022 – The POWER CHAPTER of the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) announced today that Joe Holody has resigned from PCMA POWER Chapter’s Board of Directors effective immediately, following acceptance of a new job that will take him outside of the POWER chapter’s region.
Holody, now formerly the Director of Convention Marketing, Sales & Services at VisitErie, had been elected to the POWER chapter board as a director for the first time.
PCMA POWER Chapter president, Will Engle, said, “I thank Joe for his willingness to step up and take a leadership role within the chapter; and though I was looking forward to serving with him, I definitely understand that opportunities change, and wish him the best in his next professional steps.”
Hannah Stancliff, Convention Sales Manager at VisitErie, has been appointed to fill the vacancy on the POWER Chapter board created by Holody’s resignation.
“We are excited to welcome Hannah to the board,” said Engle. “In addition to her background in marketing and perspective as a supplier, Hannah has passion and industry acumen that will advance the initiatives that the chapter hopes to achieve in the coming year.”
Stancliff’s appointment will begin immediately, and will run through the 2022 calendar year.
